Mother's Day

Okay, I know I have been horrible about blogging this month, but I still wanted to blog about Mother's day even though I'm almost a week late. We had such a fun day! Nate got me some beautiful flowers on Saturday. Then on Sunday I woke up to breakfast that Nate had made Madison and I. Then we went and played outside for a while. After that, we did some shopping in the late morning for our first camping trip with Madison over Memorial Day weekend. Then we went to lunch at this place called NoNo's. It was SOOO good even though we did have to wait a while to be seated (and we did make reservations)! When we got home, Nate put Madison down for a much needed late nap. Then it was such a nice day, Nate and I just hung out and talked outside on our patio until Madison woke up. Then Nate made us ribs for dinner. Thanks for the best Mother's Day!!

T-Shirt Head

Nate likes to do this thing with Madison where when he gets her undressed he leaves the shirt on her head and yells "T-shirt Head". She thinks it's HILARIOUS and giggles so hard, but she never wants to leave the shirt on very long. It must be tight on her head or something. I must say she looks pretty cute when he does it though.

Spirit Week

The last week of April was spirit week at Madison's KinderCare. They didn't do anything on Monday though. Then we forgot to pick up our daily sheet on Monday, so we didn't know what Tuesday's theme was, so she didn't dress up Tuesday either. Then on Wednesday she stayed home sick. So.... she only got to do Thursday and Friday. Thursday was Pajama day!! Madison picked to wear her ballet pajamas. Then Friday was "Wear your favorite color" and I asked Madison Friday morning what she wanted to wear and she picked out this all pink sweat suit. I never got a good picture of her in it that day because she didn't keep the jacket on at home. But if you want to see what it looks like you can look at my "Denver Aquarium" blog post and that is the same outfit she wore. I guess she takes after her mother in that her favorite color is PINK!!

Playing Outside

Madison loves to play outside... She always has SO much fun!! Her latest thing now is to take her shoes off and run around barefoot.

Silly Trick

Madison has started doing this trick when we go to park. Pretty strong 2 year old!!!
