Potty Trained
Madison is fully potty trained! And she has been for a while now too. She was such a good girl about it and made it so easy for me! One morning she woke up and I put her in big panties. She has had maybe 5 total accidents in the last month since we started (including her naps!). She still wears a diaper at night, but wakes up dry 9 times out of 10 so I think she's ready to start wearing her big girl panties at night now too. She's such a big girl! Oh, and don't worry about the band aid on Madison's forehead, she just wanted a blue band aid and decided to put it there... Silly girl.

Day off with Madison

Changes going on...
Well, I know I have been slacking in the blog department, but I promise I have a good excuse. I have had lots of distractions this past month, but I realized many of you who read my blog probably have no idea what is going on in my life right now so I would like to keep all my fellow bloggers informed.
1. The reason my blog address changed is because Nate and I are separating which means I no longer will be a Dzialo. I realize I am still a Dzialo now, but I'm slowly trying to change things so I don't have to do it all at once in the end.
2. I have Madison every other day right now. I miss her very much the days I don't have her, but it is working for us right now. I know some people probably can't believe this, but Madison actually seems to be doing very well with this. I'm sure it is affecting her since she went from seeing both her mom and dad every day to seeing them every other day, but she doesn't show it at all.
3. I am EXTREMELY busy and probably will be for the next couple of months until this is all finalized (which can be anywhere from January to April). Right now I am working on getting all financial paperwork together, which is not fun. 3 years worth of loans, credit cards, tax returns, bank accounts & retirement accounts just to name a few and these papers aren't that easy to just come up with as most of them we don't just have laying around.
4. Nate and I have decided to sell our house since neither of us can afford to live there on our own. We have met with realtors and it will be on the market as soon as we clean the whole house and get it presentable for showings, which I'm hoping is by next Monday. (I finished cleaning my half this weekend, Yippee!)
5. In the mean time I have moved in with my parents and both me and Madison have our own rooms right next to each other. I have been very busy packing, moving, unpacking, re-packing for storage, organizing, etc. In fact, I'm still not completely done, but I am getting there. Nate also moved in with his parents, so Madison has enjoyed living with both her grandparents.
6. Also with the spare time I do have I have been working on changing little things (like blog address, email address, splitting cell phone plans, changing ownership of pets, etc) so that when this whole thing is finalized hopefully I will be done with most the "little" things and can be done with the whole ordeal.
I know this is sad, and may come as shocking, news, but I decided that everyone deserves to be kept informed of my situation and it's not something I will be able to hide forever. Thank you everyone for your thoughts, prayers, support, and love through everything. Please continue to pray for Madison and I as we continue to work through this each day at a time. We love you!
Halloween
I took Madison to Jerad's nursery to pick out our pumpkins to carve this year.
She loved all the waterfalls there and especially the haunted house. Although I didn't take her inside the haunted house because it looked pretty scary for her she talked about it the whole time.

Madison helping me carve my pumpkin.
Getting ready to go trick-or-treating. I hope I never forget the fun time we had together this year! Madison didn't take a nap so she was pretty tired for trick-or-treating. She kept saying go back to grandmas house, but then when I would say ok, you want to go back she would say no, this house and want to go trick-or-treating at the next house we came to. We did a big loop and went to lots of houses. She was dragging by the end of the night. She looked SO tired and was walking so slow, but still wanted to keep doing more. Her candy bucket was pretty heavy by the end of the night. The cutest part was at every single house I would remind her to say "Trick-or-treat" when the person answered the door, but she only said it once the whole night. Sometimes she would whisper it so you couldn't even hear her, but usually she would say it once the person shut the door. Silly girl, I bet she'll get the hang of it next year though.

Fall Festival
Madison had a fall festival at her school. Kids could wear their costume if they wanted and they had a magician come and lots of games and candy. I didn't have Madison's costume for her to wear. Her favorite part was the magician. He had 2 white birdies and a hamster. Madison talked about the 2 white birds the whole night. She kept wanting to go back in the room where they were to find them, but they were gone. Then I found the cupcake walk and that sure distracted Madison. Although she didn't care much for the game part of it, she just wanted a cupcake. Luckily her teacher was the one in charge of this game so she let Madison have one even though she never won.

Snow Princess
We went to Babies 'R Us a little bit ago and the parking lot was just packed. I couldn't figure out why, except I saw a radio station's van parked outside of the store. I though, surely the parking lot can't be this packed for some stupid little radio station. Well I decided to go anyways, and it ended up being the grand opening of Babies 'R Us becoming a toy store. I never noticed if it was called Toys 'R Us yet or not, but either way, it definitely was a toy store. I'm really excited to have a toy store so close now because we used to drive all the way to Highlands Ranch just to go to a toy store. Well they had tons of people dressed up as characters. There were Star Wars characters, Barbie, Geoffrey the Giraffe, but Madison's favorite was Funshine, the yellow care bear. She was too scared to give him a hug or anything, but every time she saw him she would just stare and point and talk about him. They also had free face painting there. I asked Madison if she wanted to get her face painted and of course she did. This was only her second time getting it painted, but this time she picked a snow princess. Her lips were blue, but she must have licked them a lot on the way home because they aren't really blue in the pictures. Overall, it was a good trip to Babies 'R Us.

Pretty in Pink
Everytime I bring Madison out wearing all pink I don't know how many times people comment and say look isn't she pretty in pink or make a comment on it. I think she does look quite adorable in pink though. She looks cute in all colors, but I don't know what it is about people feeling like they need to make some stupid comment about pretty in pink. They must think it's really unique or funny, but in fact I couldn't tell you how many people say it.

Madison's first mani/pedi
Two of my friends took me to get a manicure and pedicure for my birthday. I brought Madison with me and of course I had to get her her first mani/pedi too. She loved it of course!! She pick out a purple nail polish for her nails and they put white polka dots on them too. She was so in awe the whole time. It was the funniest thing to watch her. They sat her in a chair that the workers sit in when they do pedicures and just painted them there. They even put the toe separators on her hands. It was so cute! The best part of the day was probably when we went to Yogurt Land afterwards. Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures of that part of the day. It's this place where you get to pick out your flavor of frozen yogurt and then pick out all these mix ins and then they weigh it at the end and just charge you by weight. I got a TON of fruit mix ins in mine and it still cost less than $3. Well, Madison wouldn't even let me have a bite! She had this death grip on the spoon that I had never seen her do before and she ate pretty much the whole thing. It wasn't even that bad for her because most of it was fruit. Yum, writing about it makes me want to go back again soon!

Butterfly Pavilion
Madison's first trip to the Butterfly Pavilion was lots of fun. She is really in to butterflies right now too so she really liked the part where all the butterflies just fly around you.
She wanted to climb in this web so bad, but there was so many (much bigger) kids there the whole time she never got a chance

Madison the little Gymnast
Madison had her last gymnastics class about a week ago. She had so much fun and did so good. She improved in every class. She can now do somersaults and no handed somersaults (which she just thought of to do on her own because they didn't teach them that in class). She sprained her ankle pretty bad on the bar one of the weeks and she was scared to go on it again, but at the last class she got on it again and was such a brave girl. Madison's favorite things to do were jump on the trampoline, somersaults & the parachute.

Going to the Park
Well, I thought it was time for an update from my last post on walks to the park. In that post on March 24 Madison was still below the "VIEW". Now, less than 6 months later she is already touching the bottom part of "TRAPPERS". This little girl is growing so fast! Of course you can see she now likes to bring water to the park instead of wear jewelry and bring her puppy. Really she would do both still, but now I can usually convince her that she doesn't need to bring those, but instead should bring water in case she gets thirsty. She calls it pink water. Which is really just water in a pink bottle. She is so silly sometimes.

Hiking with mommy and daddy
Last Sunday we decided to take Madison hiking. It was a lot of fun. This time was a little different as there was a nice creek that Madison and Nate got to dip their feet in for a while. Madison even got out of the back pack for a while and walked. She walked for a long time too!! She was very tired by the time we got back to the car. I think her favorite part was seeing all the butterflies and bugs.
