We took Madison for her first camping trip Memorial Day weekend. We went to Steamboat Lake which is a little over a 3 hour drive from our house. We all had so much fun! Madison loved being outside all day every day and staying up late with mommy and daddy. She got to make s'mores, catch her first fish & sleep in a tent for the first time. We caught 6 fish while we were there, but only kept 4 of them. Madison named the 4 we kept. She named them Megan (the one she caught), Daddy, Gigi & Mermaid. I thought those were such cute names!!
WAs it cold the whole time you were there? You all are in long sleeves and pants!

ReplyDeleteYeah it was pretty chilly the whole time except on Friday when we got there is was really hot, but it cooled down quick in the afternoon. It was that annoying weather though where it was cold if you didn't wear a sweatshirt, but it was hot if you did wear one.... So we were in pants and sweatshirts or long sleeves pretty much the whole trip!
