Madison is such a girly girl. I never knew that at such a young age, a child could be so interested in makeup, hairstyles, shoes, jewelry, etc. It makes we wonder... In high school I took a AP Psychology class and we studied that if girls and boys acted the way they do because of the way they were raised. My teacher started the class like this:
Teacher: Okay everyone, when I tell you to do so, everyone say hi like a girl...
Class: Hi (in very high pitched voice)
Teacher: Now, everyone say hi like a boy
Class: Hi (in very low manly voices)
Then my teacher proceeded to say why when he tells everyone to act like a girl, why the girls still higher their voices and say hi in very high pitched tones, when in fact they are a girl. And same with the boys, why do they talk in a deep low voice, when they are a boy. Why doesn't everyone just talk normal? Well then we studied that if we put bows in boys hair when they were babies and stopped at a young age (say 3-5) and put them in pink clothes and ran to them every time they scraped their knee to make sure they were okay and just raised them for their first 3-5 years of life the way one would raise a girl, if they would grow up and act like girl when they were older. I don't know what would happen, because probably no one would sign their baby boy up for an experiment like that, but it makes me wonder... Madison sees me do anything and she wants to do it too - you name it - put makeup on, paint nails, shave my legs, do hair, clean, cook, etc. But when Nate does any manly things like shave his face, Madison isn't interested to do that. Why is it that she is interested to shave her legs and not her face (when she doesn't have hair on either of them)? I wonder if we ever have a boy when I bring my nail polish out to paint my nails if he would run over and put his hand out to paint it like Madison does or he'll be more interested in shaving his face and doing manly things...
Pink Heels, Teething ring "bracelet", Elmo Cell Phone
Accessorize - Hat
Accessorize: Glasses
Accessorize: Hat, and can't forget her "purse"

That's interesting....I am eager to see how different baby girls are from baby boys. When I paint my nails, sometimes the boys will ask if they can too and they like to watch me do my makeup, but they aren't drawn to it and beg to do it as it seems Madison does. PS - it was good to see you guys tonight!
